Barry Hunt, Governor

Barry Hunt Governor Biography I am a retired family man having spent my working life as a surveyor in the management and control of the built environment both in industry and local government. I have a wife and six children aged between 49 and 11, so I am well used to giving and receiving challenge. I like to be active and have a number of interests key among which are cycling and music.

Over the recent past I have had to rely on the NHS, more specifically Queen’s Hospital Burton, to keep me up and running, so when I retired I wanted to give back the benefit of my time and experience in any way possible to assist the Trust. I stood for public governor of the Trust representing the community hospitals of Lichfield and Tamworth in June 2019 and was elected to serve from July 2019 to June 2023, I am now busy.
