Jobs in Community Planned Care

Nurses in corridor

We provide support to UHDB multi-speciality outpatient sessions running across Derbyshire from five sites. These sessions are supported by a team of over 80 consultants and clinical workers.

Working in the community allows our teams to provide care closer to homes, releasing capacity at our acute sites, and build relationships with lots of different patients, regardless of job role.

Why join us in Community Planned Care?

As our team delivers lots of different outpatient sessions, we offer a planned induction program to support new starters to become confident with the complexity of our services.

Working with a wide range of specialities, and alongside colleagues in diagnostics and theatres, you will be able to develop a broad skillset in a supportive environment. Our staff are experienced, dynamic, forward thinking, and find their roles allow them to deliver personalised patient care.

We have a competency-based framework to develop our health care assistants (HCAs) to become Band 3 clinical support workers.

Our Nursing and Administration teams across the five sites offer a quality, patient-centred approach, which allows us to provide individualised care and to help reduce health inequalities across the region.
