Staff work an annualised hours contract, which provides the same monthly wage and benefits as all other Trust staff but gives flexibility in working hours for both the ward and staff. Our staff are highly trained in the care of predominantly post-op surgical patients, and you would gain a multitude of skills and experience in this field, where no day is the same.

The team at Derby Private Health has been recognised for the care and compassion they gave to patients throughout the initial peak of the pandemic > with a Team UHDB Award.

We work closely with other departments in the Trust, such as ICU, Imaging, and Endoscopy. We also have a very busy outpatient area and minor procedure room, providing an outpatient service Monday to Friday.
