About Florence Nightingale Community Hospital
Florence Nightingale Community Hospital provides a range of services including inpatient rehabilitation and palliative care, and outpatient consultations in major specialities such as dermatology, ophthalmology, therapy and rehabilitation services, phlebotomy, x-ray, imaging and diagnostic services.
The hospital was renamed from the London Road Community Hospital to the Florence Nightingale Community Hospital in July 2021, after honorary nursing pioneer Florence Nightingale, in recognition of her contribution to healthcare worldwide and her special contribution to its development in our historic hospitals in Derby.
