Queen’s Hospital Burton is the principal provider of acute hospital services for the residents of Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas including South Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire.

At Queen’s Hospital Burton, there is a full complement of Emergency Department, outpatient and direct access services, and all specialties are supported by a comprehensive range of clinical services in therapies, pharmacy, pathology, and radiology. There are two MRI Scanners, two CT Scanners, a dedicated endoscopy suite, a breast care unit, stroke facilities and modern maternity unit all on-site at the Belvedere Road hospital.

The hospital serves a population of approximately 360,000 people and is committed to delivering high quality patient care. Queen's Hospital Burton aims to be the local healthcare provider of choice with a mission to deliver the best patient experience possible.

Changing Places toilet

We now have a Changing Places washroom for disabled patients at Queen's Hospital Burton.

The facility has a hoist system, a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, a shower and a changing area with space for one person and up to two carers.

You can find the Changing Places room on Level 1, CT & MRI Scanning Department, Queen's Hospital Burton. 


Catering at Queens (First Floor Restaurant)

  • Breakfast: 8am - 10.30am (Monday to Friday)
  • Lunch: 12pm - 2pm (Monday to Friday)
  • Dinner: 5pm - 6.30pm (Monday to Friday)


Coffee at Queens Coffee Shop (Ground Floor, near Main Entrance)

  • Monday to Friday: 8am until 7.30pm
  • Saturday and Sunday: 9am until 7.30pm
  • Bank Holidays: 12pm until 7.30pm


Pharmacy

  • Monday to Friday: 9am-5pm
  • Saturday: 9am-12 noon
