Consultant running Derby Half Marathon in aid of Cyclone Idai victims
An Anaesthetic Consultant at Queen’s Hospital Burton is running the Derby Half Marathon to support those affected by Cyclone Idai in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
Tendai Ramhewa has friends who have tragically lost close relatives in the disaster.
Tendai says he feels he owes it to the people there whose homes, schools, livelihoods, everything has been destroyed to complete the challenge, which takes place on Sunday 9 June 2019.
