Exciting new role for Dr Seema Kumari
We are delighted that Dr Seema Kumari will be joining our partners Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust to work two days a week as their Deputy Medical Director. The role, which is on a secondment basis until the end of March 2022, will see Dr Kumari continue in her role as an Acute Medicine Consultant at UHDB both Burton and Derby sites, as well as Respiratory Lead for NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
Dr Magnus Harrison, UHDB Executive Medical Director, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Seema to gain experience in a Deputy Medical Director role. I’m in no doubt that she will be an excellent addition to the team at DCHS. I’m also grateful to Seema for her continued commitment to her clinical work at UHDB as we continue to meet the challenge of the pandemic.”
