London Marathon charity places available for 2026

Runners hoping to be part of the iconic London Marathon in 2026 can now apply for a charity place with Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity for the first time.
Applications are open now for anyone aged 18 or over who would like to compete in the world-famous event - which saw a record-breaking 56,640 runners cross the line this year - while raising funds to support patients, families and staff across University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB).
With limited places available through Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity for the first time in its history, and open to all - including UHDB staff, patients and people from across the UHDB community - the charity is keen to hear the stories of hopeful applicants and why running to raise money would mean so much to them.
