Results of Governor elections announced for 2025
The results of our most recent Staff and Public Governor elections have now been published, with new Governors for two professional groups having been elected.
The successful candidates are as follows:
Staff Governor for Non-Medical all other sites:
- Solomon Idowu
Staff Governors elected unopposed:
- Jayne Seagrave for AHPs at Royal Derby Hospital (elected unopposed)

Public Governor elections
Results have also been published for our recent Public Governor elections, with the following candidates elected:
- Beverley Martin - Derby City
- Pam Windley - East Staffordshire
- Navinder Dhillon - Lichfield and Tamworth
- Pam Dhanda - North West Leicestershire and Rest of England
- Jacqueline (Jackie) Clarke - Amber Valley and Derbyshire Dales (elected unopposed)
Appointed Governors update
- Lucy Care - Derby City
- Joseph Turrell - Derbyshire County Council
- Patrick Allen - Staffordshire County Council
- Elaine Day - CVS
