Subject Access Team thanked for care and compassion on World Administration Professionals Day

Subject Access Team

Our Subject Access Team based at Webbes Storage in Burton on Trent have been thanked by a colleague for the care and compassion that the team have provided to them since starting.

The team were nominated by a colleague for a Making a Difference Award for supporting them after a really tough time in their personal life.

Part of the nomination read: “In December 2019 due to personal circumstances, my whole world fell apart. Shortly after this, I was offered a flexible role within the Medical Records Department in Burton on Trent, this position has enabled me to look after my son and come back into a working environment, the role is very different than previous positions I have undertaken but it has helped me to return into the workforce and start to mix with people which has helped my emotional state and of course my whole mental and physical health.

If it wasn’t for the Departmental Manager, Lisa Vaughan, and especially the wider team who have made me feel a big part of the team from the onset, I would not have made the progress I have made.”

“The team I work within put the Trust values at the forefront of their work with the families and Professionals who contact the department, and they look after colleagues ensuring they are supported physically and emotionally, the Team certainly put the PRIDE elements in all they do.”

The team were presented with the award as a surprise by Rob Walker, Director of Operations. Lisa Vaughan, Departmental Manager said: “It’s really lovely to be recognised and I’m really glad that as a team we have been able to support the colleague who nominated us.”
