The time has come to vote for your next UHDB Governors!

Governor elections 2021

All Trust Members will be able to cast their vote for who they'd like to represent them as one of our UHDB Governors from tomorrow.

In total, a number of Public Governor seats from across six constituencies will be up for grabs, while UHDB colleagues will also be able to cast their vote for four open Staff Governor seats.

Voting will be open for Trust Members from Tuesday 18 May until Thursday 10 June, with the Council of Governor election results then set to be officially declared on Friday 11 June.

All Members eligible to vote should soon receive an invitation to do so either via email or via postal vote. Please check the spam folder in your email if you don’t receive your invitation to vote over the next few days.

  • South Derbyshire – Public Governors
  • Derby City – Public Governors
  • East Staffordshire – Public Governors
  • Lichfield and Tamworth – Public Governors
  • North West Leicestershire & Rest of EnglandPublic Governors
  • Medical & Dental – Staff Governors
  • Non-medical – Royal Derby Hospital site – Staff Governors
  • Nursing & Midwifery – Royal Derby Hospital site – Staff Governors
  • Nursing & Midwifery – all other sites – Staff Governors

Please note that the vote for the Erewash constituency was uncontested, so Michael Flude has been re-elected.

All of our Public and Staff Governors play an integral role in representing the constituencies where they live and the teams that they work in, and are fully engaged in determining the future plans of the Trust.
