You are invited to Dementia Action Week event
Next week we will be shining a light on Dementia Action Week. If you know someone who has Dementia or you are a carer you are invited to come along and have a chat with colleagues from our Dementia team about the support that is available to you.
There will also be representatives from organisations such as Derbyshire Carers Association, Staffordshire together for carers, Alzheimers Society and Voluntary Action LeicesterShire (VALS) at the information stands as well as colleagues from UHDB's Library service, Liaison Psychiatry team and Dementia Palliative Care team, to offer advice and answer your questions.
People will also be able to refer themselves into the services on the day.
The dates and locations of the stands are as follows:
- · Monday 18 May: Royal Derby Hospital - main entrance courtyard, 10am-1pm
- · Tuesday 19 May: Queen's Hospital Burton - outside the canteen, 10am -1pm
- · Wednesday 20 May: Samuel Johnson Community Hospital - the landing area,10am -1pm
- · Thursday 21 May: Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital - foyer, 10am-1pm
- · Friday 22 May: Florence Nightingale Community Hospital - main corridor, 10am-1pm
