I believe in the essential survival of an NHS that remains free at the point of delivery for all and would like to support the NHS to thrive for years to come. Furthermore, supporting UHDB to help our communities lead healthier and happier lives whilst ensuring the provision and delivery of quality care.
There is a real need for clear accountability, effective governance, appropriate scrutiny, and robust systems to secure good outcomes. In this regard I can utilise my professional knowledge, skills and experience working across a range of public sector departments acquired over many years of service, helping to drive effective performance by seeking assurance within my capacity as a governor.
As a patient and governor of UHDB I shall seek to continue making a positive contribution representing the interests of all UHDB patients and public and thank you for your support in fulfilling this role.
