Staff accolades

Jordane and Megan recognised for Making a Digital Difference to staff at UHDB

Making a Digital Difference Award

A new digital Facilities Management App has benefited UHDB FM staff across Derbyshire and Staffordshire by making important information relating to their work available to them at their fingertips.

The app, which launched at the end of 2021, for all facilities and estates staff, across all five sites, including our partners in ISS, Skanska, STERIS and Synergy.

Jordane, Facilities Management Secretary, said: “With many of our facilities and estates colleagues on the front line and little access to a computer or e-mail, it has been reported to us through staff surveys and informal feedback, that our staff feel that sometimes they miss important communications from the facilities and estates team and the Trust, due to limited access to NET-I colleagues can also feel out of the loop.

“Our team decided to launch the new facilities and estates app and believe it will be a fantastic opportunity to connect and easily communicate to our facilities and estates colleagues. The new app can send alerts and important communications to relevant staff groups, allow access to NET-I, whilst also offering access to your ESR record, training, and other benefits.”

Allyson Jones Head of Service Delivery for Digital Services, alongside Paul Brooks, Director of Estates and Facilities, presented Jordane Hardwick and Megan Roworth with the first ever UHDB Making a Digital Difference Awards for going above and beyond to ensure staff had the information they needed on the go.

Allyson said: “Congratulations on receiving our first ever Making a Digital Difference Awards. Work like this is exactly why we wanted to introduce the awards to UHDB – thank you for going above and beyond to ensure that staff are kept informed and updated on important information from across the Trust.”
