Visiting Royal Derby Hospital on Saturday 17 or Sunday 18 May? Please park at the hospital

The Park and Ride service for Royal Derby Hospital operating from Kingsway Boulevard will be closed on Saturday 17 May and Sunday 18 May while we conduct some essential maintenance work.
The work is being done over the weekend as footfall is lower and during this time, visitors can use the available on-site car parks, or seek other travel options such as public transport.
During the closure, patients and visitors who expect to be on site for longer than 90 minutes can speak to the ward or department they are visiting, in order to get their car parking ticket stamped by a member of staff to ensure they only pay a maximum of £3 for their stay.
UHDB colleagues will be present at the entry to the Park and Ride to redirect traffic.
On Monday 19 May, parking arrangements at the hospital site will resume, and patients and visitors are encouraged to use the Park and Ride service which is free, and runs every 15 minutes dropping of at five points around the hospital site >
