UHDB colleagues are hosting an upcoming careers fair at Queens Hospital Burton on Tuesday 30 April, from 4.30-7.30pm, taking place in the site's Education Centre (also known as the Outwoods site).

Titled the Future Workforce Careers Event , the aim of the event is to showcase the breadth of clinical and non-clinical careers available within UHDB and the wider NHS - providing a snapshot of possible routes into NHS organisations, including work experience opportunities to support with future applications.

'An amazing opportunity': two aspiring young UHDB apprentices talk National Apprenticeship Week 2023

UHDB is delighted to be celebrating National Apprenticeship Week, taking place this year from 6 - 12 February 2023.

To celebrate all things apprenticeship, not only are our Learning and Education Team hosting a number of webinars throughout the week, but we have spoken to two team members undertaking apprenticeships with us to hear about their experience: Isla Watson, an Apprentice Recruitment Assistant, and Joseph Stanyer, an IT Security Engineer, both working at Royal Derby Hospital.
