Minute’s silence for New Zealand terror attack victims

New Zealand flag

As a mark of respect to those families who have lost loved ones during the recent terrorist attack in New Zealand, there will be a minute’s silence held outside the main entrances of Royal Derby Hospital and Queen’s Hospital on Friday 22 March at 12pm.

Staff at our community hospitals or those who are unable to leave their workplace can participate in their area of work where it is appropriate. We would also encourage any patients or members of the public at our hospitals on the day to join us.

The UHDB family would like to express our condolences and heartfelt prayers to all the families

As always, it is important that we remain vigilant following the events in New Zealand. The National Police Chiefs’ Council has issued the following updates on local policing and safety guidelines to members of the public.
