Emergency Department, Queen's Hospital Burton

The emergency department at Queen's Hospital Burton provides a 24 hour emergency service to adults and children, treating on average 200 patients each day. 

We have onsite out-of-hours clincicians with bookable appointment slots, and state-of-the-art facilities, including:

  • a recent £1.1million Minor Injuries Department refurbishment
  • resuscitation room with 3 bays
  • majors cubicles x 12
  • pit stop
  • plaster room
  • streaming rooms x 2
  • paediatric minor injury / illness bay

In 2015, we were winers of the Special Recognition Award, 2015 Pride Awards.
