Neurology

Royal Derby Hospital hosts the National Parkinson Foundation International Centre for Excellence in Parkinson’s Disease, as well as providing a full complement of general neurology services.

Further specialised clinics in Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy and Botulinum toxin clinics are available.

The Neurology service consists of 5 consultant neurologists, 2 visiting neurosurgeons (NUH) and 8 specialist nurses covering Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and Headache.
