Future Workforce Careers Event at Queen's Hospital Burton - Tuesday 30 April

UHDB colleagues are hosting an upcoming careers fair at Queens Hospital Burton on Tuesday 30 April, from 4.30-7.30pm, taking place in the site's Education Centre (also known as the Outwoods site).

Titled the Future Workforce Careers Event , the aim of the event is to showcase the breadth of clinical and non-clinical careers available within UHDB and the wider NHS - providing a snapshot of possible routes into NHS organisations, including work experience opportunities to support with future applications.

The event will feature a wide range of stalls and interactive rooms, where attendees will be able to visualise and experience what it is like to work within the NHS. It will also give those in attendance the opportunity to speak to and hear from a range of healthcare professionals and local training providers, such as our local colleges and the University of Derby, who can support and guide you in how to start a career within the organisation.

If you are not yet employed, in full time education or seeking a career change - this event is for you.

It will be an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to see the range of careers that are available, which will include Apprenticeships, Allied Healthcare Professionals, Admin and Clerical, Digital Services, Estates and Facilities, Finance, Nursing and Midwifery and many more.

Following on from last year's extremely successful event, we anticipate that it will be busy - so if you plan to attend, please make sure you book your free place on Eventbrite, through this link (opens in new window) >

Free parking is available for those who are planning to attend - this will be in the Outwoods Car Park (Car Park 6) which is opposite the Education Centre where the event will be held.
