Clinical measurement

The Clinical Measurement Department (CMD) provides a wide variety of clinical investigations and services utilising modern technology and equipment.

CMD delivers services for patients of all ages, supporting many medical teams across the Trust. We aim to provide a clinical measurement service that is efficient and effective which acknowledges individuality in an atmosphere of empathy, respect and support.

The CMD team consists of specialised clinical physiologists and assistant clinical physiologists, alongside dedicated administrative staff. Our department is also fully supported by consultants and their teams, in their respective fields of specialty. They all play an essential role in delivering a high quality specialised and confidential service.

We are also involved in education and training of medical and nursing staff and actively support research and development across the Trust.
