Coronavirus guidance

If you think you may have symptoms of Coronavirus, follow the national guidance and self-isolate for seven days. Medicine for the Elderly

We provide inpatient and outpatient services to older people, particularly the frail elderly and those with multiple medical problems.

This includes:

  • Inpatient services - medical assessement and rehabilitation services, including those presenting with acute confusional state or falls, multiple medical problems and impaired self-caring ability
  • Outpatient clinics - including specialist clinics for falls, syncope (blackouts) and Parkinson's disease (Royal Derby Hospital is a National Parkinson's Foundation Centre of Excellence)
