This course will give you the requisite knowledge and skills to be able to understand the complications and risks associated with transfer of the critically ill patient; to be able to plan and safely manage the critically ill patient during inter- and intra-hospital transfer; to become familiar with the equipment used during transfer.

Recommended for all registered staff involved with the transfer of critically ill patients (both inter- and intra-hospital).

The course is conducted as a series of lectures and interactive workshops. Candidates are also required to participate in an interactive MCQ.
This course is free of charge to all eligible candidates within the Mid Trent Critical Care Network.
