Vascular surgery
Vascular surgeons diagnose and manage conditions affecting circulation, including disease of the arteries and veins.
This includes carotid artery surgery, aneurysms of the abdominal aorta, peripheral arterial disease, Ischaemic limbs, and varicose veins.
Vascular surgeons work closely with colleagues in stroke, renal, and diabetic services to provide surgical advice.
Outpatient clinics are mostly at Royal Derby Hospital, with further clinics at our community facilities in Ripley, Long Eaton and Swadlincote.
